Allan Purvis sold the company in 1989, after some 15 years. A total of 683 Purvis Eurekas had been produced. There have been a further two owners since Allan Purvis were a number of non-Purvis Eureka sports cars have been produced, but spare parts and accessories had been the main focus of the on-going business.

Around February 2002 the factory in Dandenong Victoria was packed up by the last owner, items sold off and the remains moved to Sydney .

Latest news is that as of March 2013 the club now has access to the original moulds.
