Howdy guys ,
just a quick update on the little red eureka i recently purchased ... I purchased this car based on lust ... but i knew at the price that it may have a few problems , she started well but my experience with veedubs told me it was a bit tired .. no big problem .. the vw motor is like a meccano set .. I've rebuilt one, fixed a few   ... the ding in the ass end that the seller had "masterfully" tried to cover stood out like dogsnuts .. luckily my brother is a fibreglasser( fibreglasier?)

The things i was really worried about ,, rust in the pan ,bent suspension ,poor gaping or shoddy build was all good, so we settled on a price ....

Things I have learnt in the first month of purchase ..

1 .. You get a lot of attention .
2 .. You gain a lot of respect for gynaecologists as you try to work on the engine.
3 .. Not many people know what the make of the car is .. those who do, wanted one .
4 .. passengers seat is smaller than drivers seat (in width)... its either that or my wife is.. 'ahem' a little ..shall we say..no lets not.. its the seat .
5 .. You get a LOT of attention
6 .. Thankfully the eureka can corner better than i can ... Drum brakes+silly old man = I nearly messed my upholstery..
7 .. Did I mention you get a lot of attention ..
