Hey everyone,

As far as I can figure out, dads car has done a crank angle sensor or a cam angle sensor and it isn't sparking. If anyone is heading up/down to Mildura tomorrow and has a bit of time to spare, could someone check their local wreckers for these parts from an EJ20 subaru engine are available. I've tried the engine dismantlers here and repco and they don't have any in stock, and the subaru dealer wants a bit over $800 for the two sensors.

The only other thing that may be wrong is that the igniter has gone, but we can't really check it without a microtech hand controller or dongle/cable, which nobody has.

If we don't get the bits we're gonna have to push the car everywhere and thats not gonna be much fun Sad

I know its a long shot, but thanks in advance!

Ok, mother.

As for the parts. The engine is a 95 ej20tt from a legacy, but any quad cam ej series should match up. The pictures I have are too big to attach here, but I can email/mms them to someone if they want to check

I know its too late to help you for Mildura, but once you get back here's a couple new cam and crank sensors for your engine for about $180 delivered for both.
