Here's the QLD one spotted by Iain.

A total rebuild, but comes with two engines, 1600 & 1800 Bug, two windscreens (there's a grand there a lone!), two chassis, two sets of mags (one 4 stud Ford pattern), and a lot more. If you were looking for a Eureka for a project, this sounds pretty good. And it's a Sport (at least the body is, hard to see the roof properly), and there were less than 100 of them made from memory.

Been relisted again.

Bidding starts at $3,000 but has a buy it now at $3,300. It's still a total project car, but is now ready if it has to be transported interstate. Has no windscreen fitted, but it comes with two new windscreens. Though I'd suggest you contact a local (to the seller) Windscreens O'Brian (or other windscreen specialist) to come pack those windscreens for shipping. Fitted with a running 1600 Bug motor. Also comes with two chassis's. Gear lever has been moved back. Roof is manual with gas struts.

Yeh I almost bought this one, the owner's very genuine and extremely helpful and there's alot of stuff there for the money.  Only reason I didn't get this one was because interstate delivery was going to be difficult but that seems to be addressed now.  If only I had 3k to spare  a big shed to fit it in...  Hopefully it'll find a good home soon that will see the resto through.

In the end I purchased a local car instead that was meant to be almost drivable...  The more I pull it apart the more I can find wrong with it (more work than this car involves!).  I'm sure this is a common story though.

Hope so. Solid basis for a rebuild, especially with all those extra parts.

Certainly is. I bought mine registered and on the road. Wiring loom from hell (mostly household grade wiring, what wasn't was from a computer), dodgy steering (kinda still is!!), stuffed hydrolics...it goes on and on. Don't forget, we're buying other peoples projects thet either they couldn't follow through, lost interest, or came upon a problem they couldn't afford to fix or didn't know how to. Or simply ran out of money. So in essence we 'inherit' other peoples problems.
