Hi fellow Vics,

I was passing through Yea (Victoria) and stopped for a coffee and in the window was an event some may be interested in. This is their first show and shine. Its to be held on Sunday 20th March. I'm still interested.

Regards

Rock

Hello Glenn,

You have a very spectacular looking car.

Do you have any idea of how many of your fellow-members may be interested in displaying their cars, as we could group them as part of our 'Show & Shine'.

As your cars don't come under the A.S.R.F. Classification for Hot Rods and Customs, our Club as a promoter would like to have your cars on display to show some of the other side of 'hand built' vehicles.  If you could let us know approximate numbers, we would love to have the opportunity to display your cars.  Because your cars are outside the A.S.R.F. classification, you would be ineligible for judging.

You are most welcome to display your cars.  If you could forward the information on numbers, we would consider it a pleasure to display your cars.

Kind regards,
Beverly Veale

I'm located in Pheasant Creek/Kinglake West so Yea would be fantastic.
Assuming my Reek is completed it's "restoration" by then (and it better... hopefully end of this week) I'll be there.

We will be looking forward to seeing you on the 20th.

We have had some interest from a couple of people with cars that don't meet the criteria of the A.S.R.F., so we have established a separate Class, namely "Special Interest Vehicles" which will cover your cars and their's.  Your cars will be located separately in the Railway Park, and judged, with a prize presented for that Class.

Hopefully, you will have a few more of your Members interested in attending.

I have attached an Entry Form for you and your members to enter.  Click here--> Yea Show and Shine Entry Form

Regards,
Beverly.

Unfortunately the Flywheel on this 13B going my reek is different to what was originally fitted to the Starter... so basically the Teeth are catching which means we need to swap them back (Drop Engine changeover ete)

Most likely means I won't be ready by Sunday.

Dropped down their for a bit on Sunday Morning... 3 Eureka's on display which was good.
Disappointed I didn't have mine ready, but such is life.... learnt a couple of things about cooling the Rotary (Thank's Paul)

Seemed like a good turn-out for a "Debut" Show and Shine...

Photo of the show and shine at Yea Railway station,  well it was a railway station up to 1977.

Parked together reminds me of traffic light.
