This is what Phil wrote on the other thread:-

It's on, the dates are set for a great weekend ahead. Gympie is located about 2 and a bit hours north of Brisbane, and it is all highway / freeway the whole way. This is a great opportunity to get the cars sorted before the Coff's run, and catch up with old mates and new friends

Accommodation is available as follows (per night)
* Shady Rest Motel $125 for 4, $135 for 5, undercover parking available
* Great Eastern Motel $ 140 for 4, $145 for 5, undercover parking available
* Twin Lakes Caravan Park $125 for 4, $135 for 5, no undercover parking
I would quite happily recommend the Shady Rest (from a stay about 10 years ago !!), and am booking there for our family.
Word of warning...the following weekend is the Muster, so getting your booking in early is a good idea.
I know that the arrival times will be varied between Friday and Saturday, with Sunday return
More soon
Phil
Hope to talk to you all over the next week

We'll forgive you Phil Grin

Looking forward to it.

Yes, it is ON.....the Gympie Road Trip is all go
There is nil co-ordination to our arrival times, which are between midday Friday and midday Saturday, but all going are booked into the Shady Rest Motel. At this late stage 5 cars are expected for the run, plus the very welcomed interested persons without cars
We are all set for a great Reeker weekend, and thanks to Ted & Yvonne for hosting. Even the weather looks great
Any late deciders are welcome, and any queries can be answered on 0414525237

Hi Phil,

Zak (my son) and I are come up to Gympie for the day on Saturday...........I will call you on the number above when we are close to town so we can track you down. Unfortunately we can't stay the night as he has a soccer commitment early on Sunday but looking forward to catching up with you all.
