As discussed in one of the posts we are planning a drive around the Bribie Island area on Sunday 15 November. Gunna is planning to stay the weekend on the island with his family and I am looking at coming up after son's sport on Saturday afternoon also.

Therefore a casual dinner or afternoon coffee on Saturday could also be arranged if enough people are interested.

As I bring a plan together I will post it here.

Hi All,

Looks like I'm gunna be downgrading to myself and one rugrat for the Bribie trip.  Wendy's all "camped out" after this weekend in Coffs. Grin

I will sus out somewhere to stay unless someone has a good suggestion?Huh?

A Saturday night and Sunday morn sounds the go.

I might be up for a cabin as well.  My good wife has bluntly noted "How are you going to fit all the stuff into THAT THING (as she calls it) for a camping trip AND carry a son as well?"

She has a point!!

Hey guys,  mind if i come along?  Bribie is just around the corner from my place and I'd love to get some more inspiration for my project car.  Unfortunately I've hit a mini speed bump with QLD dep transport Sad  Also there are some nice twisting and winding roads in the Malany region that could be fun.  Just putting it out there.

Dean, son 12 and I are happy to share a cabin with you if you like.

robertocarlos, you are more than welcome to join us.......I am going to finalise some detail (hopefully tonight) and post it up here.

I am looking at a drive Saturday afternoon departing from the "Twin BP's", a dinner on Bribie Saturday night, and a drive-lunch-drive on Sunday, finishing at the "Twin BP's".

Anyone who can make some or all of it welcome. Times and places to be advised.

Done deal Shonko.
I haven't selected which son is coming yet (The 11, 9 or 5yr old) but whichever will talk the legs off a table and make it run afterwards Grin.
Will watch this space closely.

Ok guys this is the DRAFT plan.

SATURDAY
2.30PM - Meet at the "Twin BP's" south bound side of the Bruce Highway
3.00PM - Drive around Bribie Island, finishing at Woorim. (approx 40km)
6.00PM - Tea at the Woorim Pub

SUNDAY
10.00AM - Meet at the "Twin BP's" north bound side of the Bruce Highway
10.30AM - Drive to Baroon Pocket Dam (approx 52km)
12.00PM - Lunch at Baroon Pocket Dam Kiosk, or bring your own.
1.00PM - Drive to Howells Knob Lookout (approx 22km)
2.00PM - Drive to the "Twin BP's" south bound side of the Bruce Highway (approx 50km)
3.00PM - Finished. Those heading back to BNE might want to drive back together and "peal off" as we go, entirely up to you.

Obviously you can choose to join in or exit the "tour" as you please. This is only a plan, I am open to suggestions and constructive criticisms.

The times are only 'guesstmiates' so if you want to catch up with us along the way best you call me to find out where we are upto.

0 4 0 8  2 0 6  7 0 0

Hope to see some of you on Saturday or Sunday.....or both!  Grin

regards

Mmmmmm...... I'm looking good for the same thing but mine will a bright yellow suzuki swift sports.

After spending a little bit of time on the RRRR today it's looking good for another/softer clutch plate before it's street driveable.  Plus I need the coilover shocks as well.  See how we go in 10 days.

(But in a straight line around the local streets, you run out of road real quick.)
