I've been following a radical rebuild of a 914 (my favourate Porsche), and he washed his manifold in the dishwasher, and his misses didn't mind!!

5) Weignt set to hold things in place ( had to repaint it to cover welding splater)
6) All the cleaning products at one time or another
7) Chest freezer to srink fit bearings and store glues
8 ) Fire blanket from the kitchion (replaced before she came home)
9) Late night welding wirh mates triped the power 5-6 times she was watching TV
10) Stored batteries in the fridge
11) And her most hated point taken up the drive way and street with my rust/cars ("could down value the house")

Hi

Glad you liked it Simon
Have my fuel tank and am making the straps for it.
Spent today running brake lines, fuel lines, and making wiring harness for motor, gearbox and fuel tank.
Would like it to stop raining when I go out side would make it easier.

I will have to make a few panels to seal out water in the foot wells and to brace a few points but I am over all happy with the out come.
