Morph, Goat, Reek, whatever.....

« on: Thursday, 11 June, 2009, 01:22:00 PM »

G'day gang,

Here's yet another one but in Windsor NSW.

Very "pretty" interior.

Lots of bids so far but what do you expect when you start off at $100.

Check it out here -> http://cgi.ebay.com.au/eurkea-purvis-ferrari-fiberglass-kit-car_W0QQitemZ220429728828

Go get it you enthuiastic newbies.

By the way, that one in Vic IS the one previously on eBay, 3 times in fact and in the Trading post before that.  Still not a bad pickup for the price and yes it is missing the engine cover.

PP.

Looks to me that it's just raised higher then the tunnel, and then boxed in, thus making it look wider.

Hi guys,

I went & had a look at that one.  It had 295 tyres on the back!! lol

The gear shift only had about 2cm of movement in it, so its reeeeally hard to figure out what gear you're in.

Manual roof

Interior did look good, but needed a tidy up

It had chassis reinforcement rails the entire way along it, and it was a swing axle chassis.

I just bought one, and I'll post pics soon.

Hi All
I went and had a look at this reek (ive known the new owner for about 5 years or so) on monday last week ,and it was'nt too bad of a buy.It has a few little things that need doing apart from sorting the engine out and getting it going,it's a IRS rear end not swing arm.The interia has been none real good but as impulsive said it need a tidy clean up,the wide centre console was achieved by moving the seats apart and i must add i like it (thinking of doing similar to my reek)the only problem with the way it's been done is the seats are bolted directly to the floor but i will move the tracks out if i do mine. The tyres on the rear fill the guards out very nicely it does need the suspention lifting up a few inches as the front is way too low.T think by the quality of the build the kit has been profesionaly put together but not by the eureka factory,it has sat around for a while and that shows but only needs minimal work to get it back on the road.Someone has made a claytons ferrari out of it buy putting ferrari badges on it.

The seats have been moved out? By how much? I wonder what that has done to the drivers position.

far enough to allow 51/2-6" console down the centre.there's not much room between the outer of the seat and the side of the interia of the car but thats wasted space anyway.it does allow 2 people to sit in it and not have each others elbows in each others seat.i don't think the driving position would be much of a issue because in most reeks you don't sit straight on to the wheel anyway it's allways slightly to the right.
