Just for info to any SA lot

I've decided that I'm not all that partial to Melbourne Peak hour traffic late on a Friday arvo, Angry  police therefore we intend to leave on Thursday  Whistle, with a stop-over (Ballarat?)  Grin and a casual cruise in, early on Friday arvo  Cheesy

How many SA people are in the convoy? and is anybody driving their reeks over?
I can't get hold of a trailer so if i come at the last minute i will attempt to drive the car over. No reason why it shouldn't make it?

Will be pissed to miss it but I couldn't handle being there without my car.

Cheers

16 Days AHHHHH   Shocked Evil Huh?

Handbrake to make operational & cover
trim & fit Drivers window
Fit 3rd hand wheel bolts (thanks Paul)
Fit bonnet
Tune engine
test drive longer than the10 feet in the shed (forward AND back)
Adjust headlights and fit surrounds
Fit the covers

Oh and get my seats back from the second upholsterer that I engaged today due to the previous one (SPENCER MOTOR TRIMMERS   Angry ) having not started them after having them for the past four weeks. Took them off him and have to pay 3 times more and get them next Friday, but they are going to be a very special custom job.
Then fit them
& finalise the seat belts
clean it again

8 Days Huh??  Whistle

Due to the large number of people asking beyond the 11th hour about attending the meet, we have been given an extension by the terrific people at Bayview on the Park until this coming Sunday for any last minute bookings.

If you want to stay at the same accommodation as the group you are best to book through the Club. If you wait until Monday, you will have to book your own room directly with the Bayview, and pay their normal rate. If you want to compare rates, we have been allocated Premier Rooms.

There will be no further extensions to this date.

Sounds like you need more time Phil!! Get moving!!  Dragan needs to get moving as well, he says he works better under pressure...umm Huh?

G'day gang,

Well the fun has finally started here in downtown Drouin.  Cheesy Afro

After 11 years and 1 month of tearing around the countryside in DWEEBY the invincible (or should that be incorrigible Whistle) I'm finally replacing the old 1250cc dak dak with a 1915 with some go-fast bits inside and a few shiny bits on the outside too.  Cool Afro

So to all of you who have previously been sucking in my fumes or getting spat on with oil while being stuck behind me as I've been wringing it's neck attempting to break the National oil consumption record trying to keep up with other "real engined" Reeks you can fear no more  Smiley Grin

Mind you, I'll still be giving it buggery here and there but at least it will go a fair bit better with the new donk in it.  Smiley

Only 14 more sleeps to go,

WOO HOO.

PP.
for life.
