Once again the Street Machine assoc are holding their annual show n shine. Sunday 14 Feb 2010 at Regency park Oval, South Rd, Regency Park.
This year these guys welcomed us but we didnt make it perhaps next year could be a goer  :)
The flyer says Club Displays welcome for all Street Cars, Show Cars, Bikes, Hot Rods, Imports etc.
Ive checked out the smasa web site and the entry fees for driver and 1 other person are $20 with $5 extra for your car to be judged.
22nd January is cut-off time for all entries.
Vehicle set-up is between 7:30 - 9:30am and must stay on oval until 4pm.
Anyone interested?

Do we need to book individually, or can we just turn-up on the day?

As I recall, entry to the oval was left, off South Rd heading north just after Regency Rd.

Now how u gonna drive 2 cars there BB, i'd like to see that. i'll ring the club and find out about just turning up. i have no idea where regency park is let alone the oval  ::)

Dodgy, I spoke to Rob of the SMASA and it's no problem to just rock-up on the day.
If we can arrive together we will at least get to park as a group.

We just need to know who is going so we can pick a suitable meeting spot to form a convoy.


Please note: the best approach to the entry is by traveling east on Regency Road and turning left onto South Road, (oval will then be on the left)

Ripped out the stockade reeks engine and building another one, Should know by the end of next week.

I was thinking maybe meet in the carpark of the Tavern there on Days Rd, where the golf course is. Its only around the corner to the entrance to the oval.
We could meet say around 8.00 - 8.30. Only a suggestion, unless anybody else comes up with anythink.

OK but you'd better cut a hole in that Tarp so you can see out the front ;D ;D ;D

i doubt you guys are getting any rain in SA cause we are taking the beating up here yahoo says we should expect floods sometime soon here in NSW.. if you do may i suggest the brolly that has no handle it rests on your head with an elastic strap you can make use of both your hands ... ;D

that sounds like a japanese invention, ive seen the little brollies for your shoes, but only in pictures not in real life
i suppose if the person that is wearing the brollie is bald for maximum comfort a suction cup might be handy  :o

to all the guys and girls on the nsw side of the world, try and keep your reek safe, dont want to have to go swimming to drive it.

You are right Trev.
I travel around a bit and at times i have been philin-uk or philin-vic just for fun.

The Stockade Reek is mine (recent build and first time out on it's own plates . ... shhhhh) and the "White over Black" reek is mine too. Can tell lots of stories with that one, but most here know already, the dramas with rego etc, but it is currently the only SA rego'd Reek with a compliance plate issued by the "anti-fun" inspectors.

Was a nice day. Most pics were taken early while it was quiet. There were probably about 300 cars of various types.

my f4 is white over black hence my eagerness for pics of yours. the pics get me excited... if only i had a spare 25 to 30 gorillas laying around (not sure where id keep them all, prollie eat too much as well) so i could get mine registered really really quickly  :D

i never thought id like a 2 toned reek until i found mine. i think it looks more in its era with the white and black instead of 2 other random colors :)

as i explained to web goat in an email just today actually, it is gonna take a long time to do cause im missing a fair bit of stuff, i have the body which is good but its the rest of it that im missing and also everything will be rebuilt, rebuilt motor rebuilt transaxle all new nuts and bolts all new suspension brakes etc etc etc so it will be costly and timely, but thats ok, it gives me something to do when im bored. im hoping to have it registered ready to drive before my 25th birthday, so fingers crossed. only gives me 2 and a half years hmmm i wonder if i can make it in time?

sound's like my ex reek but she was a complete car but thats a whole different discussion..  ;) ;)
