Title: Gelong Revival Motoring Festival Post by: Philinsa on Tuesday, 19 September, 2017, 08:07:05 AM The Geelong Revival Motoring Festival brings over 500 cars and motorbikes to show to over 40,000 visitors on Geelong’s Waterfront for the festival that is rapidly becoming Australia’s largest historic motoring event. Be part of this huge motoring festival by showing your car and go in the running for prizes and trophies. Most car shows are designed for certain car scenes. It is uncommon to see classic, modern, performance, European and domestic vehicles at the one event. The Geelong Revival Motoring Festival has united the automotive community by inviting all kinds of vehicles to be displayed in the Shannons Classic Motorshow – including yours!
Again this year entry is completely FREE! We expect entry demand to be high this year, so we encourage you to get in early. Registration closes Friday November 17th. Arriving at the event: As in previous years there will be a pre-staging area to ensure a smooth transition into the waterfront precinct. The pre-staging will be at Rippleside Park, located on Rippleside Park Drive. Event volunteers will be present at the pre-staging area and will direct you to the relevant area so you can park your car for display. You can arrive at the Pre-Staging area  SATURDAY 26th November – 6.00am – 8:30am SUNDAY 27th 6.00am – 8.00am From the pre staging area you (and any other club members you are grouped with) will be directed to your allocated parking area Please note late arrivals will NOT be granted access to the event precinct.
