amazing what you can do with a can do attitude....front bonnet that lifts forward a roll cage an the boot visor that lifts higher than normal great hinges ... Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool

And over $100,000. He spent large on that 'reek, Dave. Not the first forward hinged bonnet we've seen, helps when your bonnet catch goes on you at speed, it won't open backwards and smash your windscreen.

And the rear cover is actually a louver, wasn't a popular option over here, in stead either nothing was used, or a 'sun visor' was used in it's place. If you take a gander at the Nova's, you'll see a lot of louvers being used. As they're the same as 'our' Sport (or more correctly, where the Sport is derived from), they have the lower sloping rear deck. And when you start using non VW engines (other than boxer engines), you can have some of the engine poking up through the rear deck. So many Nova's have the rear deck butchered to fit the engine, so the louver is used to hide the mess.

it is still a gem though no matter the price...no need i stll got prints of this one an my distant memory of the yellow rocket  Grin
