Hi
Will post my project updates from now on in this thread as it is all coming together now slowly. See attached pictures of my car out in the sun for the first time in 3 years with roof attached (thanks Simon AKA Metalsmith) And yes if you wont to live in Stanhope Gardens two homes are for rent in back ground of both pics.

Hi It’s been a while but the attached picture is of brake and clutch master cylinders being mounted. New high speed shopping centre front end fitted (kidding) : I have now taken the body back off to allow access to front end for fitment of front end ,braces, master cylinders and wielding of frame as it is only tacked at present. The steering rack /box has become more involved than I had hoped at present I have an EMPI rack , a Vw box and a Hyundai excel rack on the way. I have found space to be a problem needing to have wiring, air ducts, steering components, and master cylinders and throttle linkages all in one spot has confined space. I have decided to look at all three set ups and use the best compromise. Andrew

Hi If its not to hot this week end should have a big update. That is some hours >30 degrees Also full time employment would help my speed of my project. Have found my front beam was bent will be getting a replacment on saturday. This will allow me to fit the beam and fabricate my beam braces and finalise the location of my master cylinders. My fuel tank is reinstalled to check pipe runs. The clutch slave cylinder location and operation , final welding , a number of holes for services (power, brake lines, fuel lines, air ducts ect ) and seat belt mounts the chassis can go to powder coating. Then i can start body work? ? 2-3 months. Paint 1 month Fit out 1 month Rego 1 month Contingency 5 months So may be ready for next years meet. Andrew

Hi
Just a small up date i was unable to pick up my new front beam on the weekend (Wife said i must fix the ducted ac) The attached picture is of the test assembley of the front end to check wheel clearances to the master cylinders. I have also test fitted the beam braces to and will have to remake to fit the lowered pan.The mountung points at the pan end will not clear the pan lowering braces. If anyone is thinking of fitting beam braces thay will interfere with the front under sill.
Andrew
PS Sorry about the picture quality my phone has been found not to like dust and water (work) and i have to use an old one.And i can not up load it.27/11/2009 it worked
