 Grin  Hi guys,
We are looking at a meet in Brissy on Saturday the 29th of May. Venue is still subject to negotiation, but will be a BBQ event just to catch up with each other and talk reek stuff. As always, family is the most important part of the invite, so all are welcome. Not necessary to bring your Reek, but it would be nice.
Call me on 0414525237 if you have any questions or requests or.....
I'll put up the venue as soon as it is agreed....

OK, details at last...what can I say, its been one of those weeks.

The venue is Grande Park, at Grande Ave, Springfield Lakes. Midday, approximately. Saturday 29th May, 2010. Wack it in the Blackberry thing now.
Simplest instruction from the northside...Gateway / or Clem 7 on to Logan motorway, pay tolls, go to end, turn off (satnav is more detailed)
Simplest instruction from the southside..., Logan motorway, pay tolls, go to end, turn off
The park has BBQs close to the cars (? most important bit), childrens playground, tennis courts, and a great road nearby for "vehicle testing purposes" alongside the army playground thing.
In the event of wet weather (note to interstate.....very unlikely), Dean has volunteered his residence (details by phone only, refer number in previous message, or if too lazy, ph 0414 525 237) for bbq and meet. I suspect he just wants volunteers to put his motor and gearbox back in, but since that is a short exercise, it will be simple. Tim & I are claiming the record at 14 minutes including rear undersil. Afro  Just kidding, you really don't have to get down and dirty.
Dean is bringing a Gazebo, and I probably will too, so it is a simple case of BYO chair, food, drink, and Eureka if possible. No Reek?, we love to talk Reek shit anyway.
If I don't phone you, it is either your number has changed, I don't have your number, or you simply think I am stalking you  Shocked
So come along for a great day

Great day had by all, even better to meet a whole lot of new people. And also catch up with old friends. Thanks to Dean for the use of his place in the event of rain. Turned in to a fine day after eleven, though Ted and Tim enjoyed the splash on their longer trips. I must say that the quality of the cars has certainly improved over the years.

Hey Phil, thanks for the phone call about this event.
It was good to catch up with some familiar faces and meet some new ones.
I agree that the build quality is improving.
Thanks Ted for letting me sit in your lovely Suby powered F4 and experience the joys of Honda Prelude tilt adjust steering - I didn't have to stand on the seat in order to get in/out!

Looking forward to the Gympie meet.
