Bl**y AWESOME

Played it 3 times.
The SUBI sounds fantastic.
Dodgy's was Bl**dy good too.

Now I know I will have to get both mine done sooner.

(I'll now just skulk away and ban myself for swearing)

Thanks for the feedback guys, the exhaust certainly sounds nasty. wish I could drive it around....sniff.....sniff.......
At least 5 weeks for the replacement windscreen to arrive in Adelaide then maybe I can get around again.......sniff.....sniff.....

Still,  could be worse.   Quite a different sound now isn't it BB ??  Wish I could bring it Saturday night or Sunday so you could hear it close up.....

Hope everyone is well.

Hey Jetster, haven't been on the forum for a bit, back now.  The exhaust was a custom creation and a really nice one I must say.  Much better than I expected and an amazing sound for a small rear mounted engine.  Can't wait to stretch it's legs in the next couple of weeks and bed it in.

hey St Reek,
well it certainly looks the part and it fits with the eureka concept. what engine have you got going?? At the moment i have a slightly worked (1776cc) vw engine and am currently looking at getting some more horsepower.
Thanks for the reply,

Hey Jetster, It's a flat four 1600 Subaru motor.  I think Phil called it a EA71....Huh??

Anyway. it's tight as...very nice...good acceleration, lovely sound with a single carbie and four outlets.

I know o more about it other than  I had it out yesterday and it was great.

Good luck....

I'd say it's an ea71. Mine from a late 80's Subaru Vortex, and it's an ea82t.

Your engine most likely came from an early-ish Leone or Brat.

Hey StReek,
I was looking at a subi but was told they used alot of fuel. do you know roughly what yours uses and are you also still running a standard 4spd vw gearbox or have you changed o the 5spd?
Thanks for the reply,
