Title: VW IRS Chassis
Post by: CyCo on Thursday, 19 August, 2010, 03:59:54 AM
A Bug IRS Chassis (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310241109680&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT). In Brisvagus.

Still has body on it, so could sell that to help recoup cost of chassis.

Its a strut front end. To use it you would need to cut it and weld on a beam frontend.

Hi

I think a strut front end pan could be used with  a custon set of lower arms and a bolt on top cage to mount the top arms to have a coilover A arm front end.

Had some drawings some where.

Hmm, didn't notice that. I remember someone talking about converting backwards to a h-beam front end too.
