Title: Possibly one for sale (no not mine!!)
Post by: CyCo on Tuesday, 26 January, 2010, 03:09:41 PM
Was talking to one of my neighbors this arvo, and he told be that there's a white...something... for sale just near the North Ryde RSL. At first he said that it was the same as mine, but as he talked he said it might be different. As the conversation progressed, he suggested it may have been a Ferrari Dino kit, in white.

Now as it happens, I know there is indeed a white Ferrari Dino kit near the North Ryde RSL, or at least there was. I haven't seen it for at least 5 years. I once dropped a note in the letterbox expressing my interest in buying the car, this was a about a year before I bought the 'reek.

I never saw it close up, just when driving past. And when I dropped the note in the letterbox, it was tucked away in the garage.

But, it could, maybe, just might be, a different house, or the Dino was sold several years ago and was replaced by a white 'reek. Who knows, I haven't been that way for a while, at least not with a white kitcar out the front anyway.

Thought I'd post it up here in case anyone's interested. And if I happen to drive that way (as we sometimes do during work), I'll keep an eye out and try and determine if it's a Dino (Kelmark was the kit from memory) or a 'reek.

 ;)

That's certainly the one. I recognize the street. Thanks for that, at least we know know for sure it's not a 'reek for sale.

It's a Condor too.
How rare! The other Dino replica of the time was a Kelmark, identified easily because they had no flutes in the bonnet.

It was accepted that the Condor was a better kit because of the extra panelwork that went into it's construction. Good find guys.
