Title: Dash Gap
Post by: Agroeureka on Monday, 24 August, 2009, 09:16:40 AM
Hi

Does any one have a gap between the dash and body??????????
I was thinking of using it as the demister.

Hi Andrew,
On an F4 the demister slots need to be on the upper most surface of the dash - the thin rim area above your two round vents, mate. This surface faces directly onto the leading edge of the windscreen on an F4.

I fill the gap beteen the dash and body with thin foam and my choice of dash covering material.

Hi
I am looking to remove all vents/bumps ect from the dash and was looking for alternate ways to demist the screen.
Not that the t-top has ever misted up.
I am going to recover the dash and reshape some sections trying to get the clean simple look like some retro hot rods no switches, vents, radio or lights visible.
