Title: Hanging Rock and Roll.
Post by: D4 on Wednesday, 04 January, 2012, 06:31:12 AM
:)     Any-one looking at Hanging their rock's this year, Sir Paul or Peter, if Paul got a big-end for christmas he may be a starter or he could bring Dwee-be the mussel wrenching car. Sorry mate a leg or hind quarter of Goat may sway my aggression and return it towards Sir James. 50/50 ready to go, " promise not to bite any-one this time."

I'm keen, but deeply concerned the beauty of my Vehicle will be overshadowed by Dweeby :)

             insurance.
Q4:   Do you have electricity yet or should  I bring the Generator again.?..

Thank you for the invitation Mate I appreciate it 100%, a good port and or Musket should be be enjoyed with friends 50/50 car, car-trailer, All the Best Peter Mate

Hanging Rock should be very do-able I reckon. :)

Sorry everyone but I haven't been doing any Reekin' for quite a while because this goat's been on a boat to the land of the long white cloud for a few weeks so I'm only just catching up on what's been going down.

Andrew, been there done that in heart attack land, don't go there, it's a sh_t hole so listen to the doctors and do what they say to the letter.  The Reek can wait. :police:

For those who heard that awful bang bang bang at Mildura, :( Goaty1's crankshaft fanbelt pulley parted company with it's hub so I basically drove most of the way to Mildura with SFA cooling. :o  Hoping to get the new pulley on this week then find out whether the rest of the motor is still OK while the Dweebster has been busy working on it's tan out in the sun as usual. :P  I think the faded jaded look is coming along just fine don't you ......

PP.
(for life)

Just because the Victorian members of this group are different to the S.A. members dose not mean we are the strange ones. Its great that we will be meeting Radek first, that way we can fill him in on all the details

regards Morris.

Are we arranging any sort of meeting point to begin with so we can enter at the same time?
Have we determined a collective description of Eureka's?

Personally I wish to described as a "Stockade" of Reeks :)

We usually all meet up at the gate at 8.30, or if your early go inside the gate and pull up along the road just a stone throw from the entrance, then as the rest arrive then we go the rest of the way in together.

Peter (Echuca): I intend leaving my place 7.30 sharp, as its an hour trip for me, probably go down the back way through to Harcourt onto the Freeway.
We can arrange a meeting place if you like.

Stu

Same as usual for the southern contingent;

6:15am - my place in Drouin,
7:00am - under the Stud Rd overpass on the Monash Freeway,
7:05am - under the Springvale Rd overpass on the Monash Freeway,
Then it's straight up the Calder from there and anyone else wishing to join up with us along the way is most welcome. O0

Goaty1 has been making nasty puddles in the garage since Mildura :'( so it won't be there but the Dweebster is raring to go. ;D

I'll have the banner and the pergola thingy so bring your chairs and stuff and we'll see you there. :)

It was great to meet a few of you guys - would have loved to stay and chat longer - hopefully next year the car'll be ready to participate.

Here's a couple pics from the day, including one of an GT40 (I thought it was appropriate given their styling influence on the Eurekas).

It was a great day.
Perfect weather.
Stu and I met in Bendigo and ran through the back hills to the freeway and finally met up with the rest at Hanging Rock.
6 cars in all. Not a bad turn out.
We got quite a lot of interest and a number of people coming up saying that they once had one, including the guy who own No 3.
I've posted my pics to this Album. Paul and others post yours up as well.

PS.
James your not the only one with model pics now.
The event photographer brought his model for some pics in my car.
Much to the entertainment of us all.

;D   I must apolgize to all of the Victorian members who were looking forward to taking the Urine out of me personally at Hanging Rock.
My trip to Melbourne was moved forward by several days via an E-Bay purchase, I again must apologize as my car was on the trailer ready to go.
Dweebee's enterence into the fold caused me some hesitation how can you compete with a new Big End.

Well done Victorian members, other States should take note
